For families creating a memorial garden, trenching near an established tree, or choosing another lasting place of remembrance, this system prepares human or pet ashes for later soil contact.

The Aspiring Ashes® Preparation Canister holds up to 2 cups of cremation ashes and provides approximately 90–120 days of sustained contact with a vermiculture-based soil preparation mixture before scattering.

During the preparation period, simply:

𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐊𝐄 • 𝐇𝐘𝐃𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐄 • 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐄 • 𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐓

This process helps moderate the unusual pH and concentrated mineral-salt conditions associated with cremated remains while adding organic matter and biological support to the preparation mixture.

𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄 𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐄

The Preparation Canister is not an urn. It is a place of preparation before cremated remains are scattered or returned to the soil.

If you plan to plant immediately, one of our Soil Cremation Mixtures or Ready-to-Use Cremation Potting Soil products may be a better choice.

Hydrate preparation spray is not for human or animal consumption.

There is no need to rush a meaningful decision.

The Preparation Canister gives families time to prepare the ashes, choose a place of remembrance, and approach scattering with greater intention and care.
