$9.99$12.99

Picture taken May 22, 1949. South Bend Motorcycle Club of South Bend, Indiana. The second bike, the Indian, in pic was ridden by Bob Schaffer. Bike was Indian 45 (Experimental). It’ has a 1942, front wheel. Only the ’42 Indians (and there weren’t many) had the rim, spokes, and brake drum cad plated. Also, the front fork is 1940 and later. It has the 1942-1946 Indian tank badge.

One of the Harley riders was Hap Darst. He took third Place Harley 45. Thank you to cparfh for helping us out with this info.

This print is professionally printed edge-to-edge on high-quality glossy/luster photo paper. All prints are on finger-print resistant 10 mil (0.25 mm) thick paper, and YES, even the largest prints are on photo paper, unlike everyday posters.

This photograph, and many others like it, is a reproduction from the estate of Harry Molenaar. A lot of time and effort was put into restoring the decades of wear, tear, and fading of the originals. We hope you’ll love the print as much as we loved restoring it.

Note: Thanks for checking out this print. The original is from a relatively small photo. This will cause larger prints to appear slightly blurry. Unfortunately, there’s nothing we can do to correct for this. Therefore we’ve limited the print size to 13″x19″, though we recommend sticking with a smaller print. Please zoom in to the close-up sample pic to see the full definition of the print. Thank you for understanding.
